We’re pretty much done preparing for our exhibition at the Center for Familiepleje in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The exhibition will only be open to the staff at Copenhagen city council, and is part of a newly founded art association organised by the kind folks at Center for Familiepleje.

The works will be on display until the summer holidays.

In other news – we’ll be hosting another SpermhVepsen-outdoor-exhibition-free-give-away-extravaganza sometime during May. Stay posted for time and place!

Our second, open-air exhibition has just opened on Enghave Plads, Copenhagen, Denmark. The exhibition, “SpermhVepsen #2″ features 24 paintings by hVepsen artists Jonas Geertsen, Simon Bjerregaard and C/C/C Samuelsson.

As with our earlier effort, “2011.08.07 – SpermhVepsen #1″, the exhibition will remain in place as long as the paintings, the fence and the world lasts.

This is what remains from 2011.08.07 – SpermhVepsen #1. Not bad considering they have been exposed to the elements all winter.

We’ve been told that the fence will come down within a week, so if you want one of the pieces, head down there now and grab it. It’s unlikely they will be up for long!

We’re pleased to introduce Simon Bjerregaard to the hVepsen fold. Simon lives in Copenhagen and has been painting since 2007. He co-hosted the exhibition Mental Blizzard with Jonas Geertsen at Den Gule Villa, Copenhagen, in 2010.

Simon will take on the responsibility of Gallery Officer for hVepsen Art Collective. You can check out a selection of Simon’s work here.

We are busy preparing for our next exhibition. The exact details with regards to location and time will hopefully be announced some time before the new year. We are also actively looking for studio space, as we’ve outgrown our temporary “workshop” / living room.
